The 1,300th card was, is... 2004 Donruss Throwback Threads SN 0616/1000!
This wasn't any kind of intentional purchase for the milestone: I had several on order and on the way and it just so happened to be this one. I'm no longer a fan of the Mets; however, I do have to say that this skyline & bridge logo remains an all-time favorite for me.
Another Darryl Strawberry card came in too. It's the 2025 Prizm.
I am not normally one for the unlicensed modern cards, but this one was a trade match on TCDb and I value more getting rid of cards I don't want than, um, acquiring cards that I, um, really kind of don't want. It's weird. I'm weird. I make and break my collecting rules so don't flippin' judge me, ok? Sorry.

ReplyDeleteI'm very close to 1,300 Kershaws. But I'm too slow for player collectors, I've slipped in the Kershaw standings on TCDB because I'm not quite obsessive enough.
The Prizm scanned way darker than I expected; maybe they do that? I don't have much experience with them. For a while I was #1 in Strawberry, but I don't know if I am; I don't check. I'm not collecting for that kind of reason. But: good luck reaching your next PC milestone!
