I went on a small Darryl Strawberry spree in November trying to add a few cards as cheaply as possible to my collection as I am nearly at another milestone number. I have two counts, an official count using a Sheet and then the TCDb count. TCDb doesn't acknowledge seven cards (at the moment). It does change periodically and the struggle is real in order to try to identify the card they removed because they don't let people know. I feel like they used to. They also rename cards a lot, also without notice. So sometime reconciling is awkward because I have the card, they say I have the card, but I can't find the card because it isn't under the name it used to be under.

Unfortunately, these are all Allen & Ginter, a product for which I care little but they do add to the total. I do like representation, which is the only reason why I do acquire them.

A & G exemplifies Topps' and Fanatics's laziness is lugging out cards of the same players year by year, applying the same kind of filter to turn a photograph into whatever you call the image gracing the recto of the card and merely reuses the same text on the back. Frankly I am astonished they even bother to change the card number year by year.
