Strawberry picking

Continuing on the cards I recently received that took about a month or so to arrive, this post will showcase the Darryl Strawberry cards.  The Bohemian Bread Kruk was one of the two major reasons I put the order in with them. The Darryl Strawberry cards were the other reasons.

First is the 1990 Topps Double Header Darryl Strawberry card placed, for the photograph, on strawberries we picked yesterday morning at a local farm.

This is a card that I thought I already had. It was listed as a have in my TCDb and also in my spreadsheet. But, alas, I could not put my hand on it when I was looking for it. This was kind of hard to find for a reasonable price, and its being in a plastic standing case means it requires careful shipping. Some eBay sellers out there offer it cheaply, but had it removed from the plastic. Though, for an upcharge, you can get the plastic case.

Chronologically, the next card is the 1991 Pocket Pages card. I did not have it, so I wanted it. But another reason I wanted is that there was not an image of it on TCDb and I love adding images there when I can.

The third card for Strawberry that I ordered was this dual relic card with a jersey and bat. This is, unfortunately, a Yankees card. But I am happy that the "pieces of material" does have a pinstripe.

This was also a card that was wanting an image on TCDb, so I was happy to get it and to help improve the site. There are a few more cards from the order but this will be all for today.

Thanks for stopping by!
