I get pissed off sometimes at really, truly stupid things. You want to know what gets my gourd?
No, you don't? Too, bad.
What gets my gourd is that ice cream helmets are now flat brimmed.
And this is, frankly, an outrage. The look stupid on people and the look stupid upside with ice cream coming out of it.
I want my ice cream helmet to have a nice, curved bill. Dammit.
This post is taking a turn now to show off the John Kruk card I got in my recent order that I wrote about on Monday. I actually got two Kruk cards, but traded the other one away to Shane K. So I'll show off those cards I got in return as well, because you are insisting upon it.
The Kruk card I got is the 1995 Pinnacle Museum Collection card. This card actually feels quite Masonic or religious to me.
The card I traded away was a duplicate 1987 Bohemian Hearth Bread card. I showed off the other one I got a couple of weeks back. The long story was I ordered the first one from this seller in early April, wrote the transaction off after not hearing anything about it for weeks, bought the other one, and then lo and behold the first one turns up too. Figures. Well, I know Shane loves food issue cards so swapped that Kruk for these cards in a TCDb trade:
1987 Donruss Opening Day George Brett
1988 Donruss Baseball's Best George Brett
A good haul overall. Does my take on ice cream helmets stink?
Thanks for stopping by!
I absolutely agree with your take on the helmet! The flat bill could pass for a measuring cup. Definitely not a good look.
