Optics

We pick strawberries in May and early June. But in August and September, I picked up capital-S Strawberries. As in Darryl Strawberrys!

And I went after some cards from a brand that I have largely ignored in recent years. Donruss, and in particular, the Optic brand which is, I suppose, the same as Topps' Chrome or its Refractors? Maybe?

Miriam Webster defines "optics" as such: "a science that deals with the genesis and propagation of light, the changes that it undergoes and produces, and other phenomena closely associated with it." that is the first definition. The second is: "the aspects of an action, policy, or decision (as in politics or business) that relate to public perceptions."

Maybe both are relevant to this post? What will you think I'm doing? I'll just show off a few today. There are, as you might imagine, more...

I guess? I don't really understand most parallels. When I look at that Orange thing, I don't really think Velocity? I think crazy string cheese. And the circles? Barely visible. Even in hand.
