2026 Topps, Series 1, was overloaded for me with the player in whom I have an interest in collecting.
Omitted from Series 1, I could only think of Steven Kwan as being a player that I wanted to get.
I wasn't sure if Ohtani would get a second base card. But, fortunately they did give him one, making him one of a few player to have two base cards in the complete 700-card set. He joins ... Nick Castellanos. Can't think of anyone as worthy as Ohtani of having two base cards than Castellanos. Same stratosphere, for sure.
But Kwan is represented on two cards, his base card as well as another Air Kwan shot, similar to last year.
I guess Petey Halpin is the monkey in the middle? Why didn't Topps name him? They had access to the information?
