The new cards

2026 is here! I guess it has been for a while. I mentioned the other day that I opened two packs and that I got a few cards I desired. I've actually traded away all the rest of the cards already which was awesome to do to help people out who are, presumably, collecting the set. Like I said, I really like this design; the pattern gives it a lot of texture. The names being readable is helpful too and this might be one I fork out money to buy the whole thing! Here are the cards I kept and/or received in trades.

First we'll see the PC guys: Andrew McCutchen, Jose Ramirez, Shohei Ohtani and Mike Trout. Witt Jr is on the way and in series 2 I'll be looking for Steven Kwan.

Next up is the last Topps card for Clayton Kershaw, this is for the Last Topps Cards of Hall of Famers.

Lastly, is the card that I'm selecting to represent the 2025 season and that is Cal Raleigh, who probably should have won the MVP award over the person who did win it.

Like I said above, 2026 is here! I also got my first 2025 Stadium Club cards in but they'll have to wait for a few days to be shown.

Thanks for stopping by!

    1. Me too. I've been so used to consuming Pirates games (or Phillies or Brewers) because of McCutchen in the last few years and it's going to be really, really hard without him to invest my interest in. Ugh. But, we're getting closer every day.
