I was going to make this post be all about the 1300th unique Darryl Strawberry card in my collection, but then I realized I never showed some other recent acquisitions. So I'll start with those first.
This a Donruss 2020 card and is a shiny version of the card and is the "Season Stat Line" variation. Which really doesn't mean anything. It's in the quasi-design of 1986 Donruss.
The back of Donruss cards are nearly identical to some Topps cards in the lack of any effort or imagination put into it. The all-caps of the text below the career totals stats is excessively shouting at me. It's hard to read, too. This card is Serial Numbered (or SN as the kids say) 98/108.
Rainbows are all the rage in baseball card collecting, and the 2020 Donruss is the closest I think I'll get to achieving anything that could be considered a rainbow. I'll show off all the cards I have for this shortly.
Now we come to the 2025 Allen & Ginter X card. X means it's got a black border. I guess? There's nothing, otherwise, particularly special at all about the card.
Oh, you wanted to see 1300? You'll have to wait.
