The cards for the 1980 Topps set build and the 1988 Fleer set build continue to come in here and there. Some have been purchases and some have been trades, and some have been through kindness. I'm particularly grateful for kindness. I got a second dose of Kindness from Chris who sent me four more cards for the 1980 set including the Strikeout leaders (Richard and Ryan), Pete Rose, Dale Murphy, and Joe Morgan. 

 

Very, very nice. BoobieMaine sent me the two Fleer team stickers cards below, and they arrived on the same day as the 1988 Fleer All-Star insert set arrived. 12 cards featuring players who has a spectrum of careers between them all. This was joint by three solo 1980 Topps cards coming in (Carlton, Niekro [Phil], and Bench). Another 1980 should be arriving soon and then that'll leave me with just two to go: Ozzie Smith and Nolan Ryan (base).  The other card here was card my 1,299th unique Darryl Strawberry card, the evergreen boring Allen and Ginter, the 2025 edition. 


And today this 1980 Willie McCovey arrived! I already had one in my Last Topps Cards of Hall of Famers collection, and while I traded for one the other week the corner was more dinged that I realized from the picture the trader courteously sent. So I got a nice, spiffy one, no?



Pictures and Catchers are starting to report today!

Card 1300 for the Strawberry collection was also received! I'll show that off shortly. Though, it's nothing too special other than being the 1300th.

    I've finished '88 Fleer but I should get that '88 All-Star set.

    Good luck with each set quest. l'll look to see if I have anything you need.

      Thank you! For 1980, it's just Ozzie Smith and Nolan Ryan base cards. For 1988 Fleer, it's team stickers. I can include a list in my next post or they are on my TCDb.... I appreciate you checking very much.
