Ciggy cards

Cigarettes and anything smokable are stupid. Cigarette cards are not. My first three Heron cards were produced by Wills's Cigarettes back in 1925. One hundred years ago! They did a series called "Life in the Tree Tops".  Now, I'm all about heron. I prefer the Great Blue Heron, but these are likely Grey Heron, the predominant heron in the United Kingdom. They kind of look like the Great Blue Heron, but there are differences. I didn't know this at the time I acquired these cards back in late 2023.

These are three of the cards in the subseries dealing with heron. I believe I got them actually from an eBay seller in Australia. Maybe one day I'll get the rest. These interested me most because they have adult herons on them. But, for now, it's great to have these hundred year old cards in my little side collection.

Don't smoke. Just collect cards.
