Alternate 399 and 400

Unique John Kruk cards number 399 and 400 were supposed to good ones. What I mean by that is not basically, essentially boring cards. But they never showed up! Cards i bought later, did, so I have an alternate 399 and 400 from what I had in mind for this weird milestone.

 399:

1988 O-Pee-Chee stickers with Dave Winfield as the Super Star sticker back.

400:

1989 O-Pee-Chee stickers with Rafael Palmeiro Super Star sticker on the back and shared sticker space with Detroit Tigers pitcher Mike Henneman.

One of the Kruk's I've already asked for and received a refund. The seller did not respond to my emails. I suspect the seller did not put enough postage on this based on the price I paid for shipping. And so it was or is or will be returned to them.

The other card was actually from COMC consignments, which I am not high on to begin with and to be honest I didn't realize I was buying from them on eBay. The tracking was weird as it was sent from wherever in Washington State and then reached Seattle for "Destination processing". Now, in reality, "Destination processing" should have been quite a bit closer to me on the East Coast. Of course eBay's tracking is pathetic, but COMC were using some other weird service called IMb (USPS Intelligent Mail Barcode).  Hardly anything intelligent about this! I am in the process of requesting a refund for this, now, too, as it has been a few weeks with no updates and no response to a query I sent them. What a bummer.

Since I drafted this 401 showed up; so that gives you something to look forward to seeing soon.

Thanks for stopping by.

  1. I won something from COMC consignments on eBay, delivery date was this past Monday but tracking doesn't even have it shipped yet. Time to ask for a refund.

    1. I really can't stand anything to do with COMC and have to pay more attention in the future. Good luck to you!!!
