John Kruk unique card 398 was delivered a short while ago. 399 is lost somewhere in the mail because eBay standard envelope tracking is probably the worst invention of the last two centuries. Cards 400-402 are on the way. There may be some jostling around for place in the 399-400-something cards. It is likely nothing to write home about and may be very boring.
But maybe not.
Before you reach 400, though, you have to hit 398. And that's where the 1988 Score Glossy lands.
I was astounded in a weird way not to have this card already -- and maybe more so to realize that I do not have one for Darry Strawberry. I do not know how "scarce" these cards are, but the Strawberry that I found on eBay was going for more than I think it's worth (at the moment).
I was, I admit, apprehensive about whether or not the Kruk would be, in fact, glossy when it arrived. But, sure as anything, the card does have a glossy sheen to it when compared to the regular card.
Thanks for stopping by!
