More new Kruks

The goal of reaching 400 unique John Kruk cards is, I hope, nearing its end. I recently got these cards which includes a dupe, and have more on the way and am watching for others.

Living in the Philadelphia area has been something of a great thing the last six years as we have the job of watching and listening to John Kruk do his thing on home and, on some precious few away, Phillies games. He's a gem. He's a classic. And he makes watching the games very enjoyable. And it makes sense as he's always been entertaining, as is evidenced by the fact that I was interested in him from just about the time when he broke into the Majors in 1986.

The below card I got as a two card lot and it's a hand-signed 2000 Nabisco All-Stars card. Kruk's favorite snack, per the back, is the Air Crisps. I've never heard of them.

Kruk's face on this card has me in permanent hysterics. And I'm looking to trade of sell one of these (the top card as presented here). If anyone is interested, leave a comment and a way to contact you!

The other card here is the 2023 Allen & Ginter card. This is the regular size one; not the mini. I got it in a TCDB trade. The A & G logo on the bottom left, when I just glance at it, makes me this of the Arizona Diamondbacks. Allen & Ginter, like Donruss Diamond Kings, is a sucky product.

Thanks for stopping by!

  1. Whoa. I've never seen the Nabisco All-Stars set. Not shocked to see there's a Giant in it. Am shocked to see that the Giant is Cepeda.
