21st Century Kruk

After his playing days ended on 30 July 1995 when he retired from the Chicago White Sox and baseball mid-game in Baltimore, he was faced with the question, "What to do." I do not know what he did for those years and that is alright. He did have three Collector's Choice White Sox cards for 1996 (I have two of the three). But, by 2001 he was back in the Philadelphia Phillies organization as a coach. 

This is his 2001 Reading Phillies Mutli-Ad card. Kruk is listed as a Hitting Coach. A career .300 hitter, Kruk was probably a good choice for a coach. But I do not know if he was a good coach. 

This was my first 2001 Kruk card.
