My two main collections are Darryl Strawberry and John Kruk. But I had to expand my interests in part to trade away the unwanted cards I had since I was a teenager, or as well to get rid of cards I have received almost by accident: as bumper cards or freebies included with trades and/or purchases. Free cards are nice, but they are almost a nuisance as well, so I never have second thoughts about trading this kind of card away.
Some of the smaller PWE trades landed me cards for the expansion of my interests and these include George Brett (a favorite from childhood), Steven Kwan (who I like very much), and Rod Carew (you can never go wrong with a guy like Carew), to name some of the dudes I focussed on.
So, these are the recent cards I have received in other TCDB trades.
First up, two trades brought me two 2022 Topps Update Steven Kwan rookie cards.
Next up, a photo. The 1995 Collector's Choice #54 with Robin Yount, George Brett, and Dave Winfield is awesome. The 1983 Donruss Carew is also very sweet. In case you lost count, that's three Hall of Famers on a single card.
I got a bunch of cards in the mail today from other trades so look for more content in this vein next week,
Thanks for stopping by!
I do love a 1983 Donruss card I haven't seen before.
ReplyDeleteYeah!
DeleteNice pickups. That 2022 Topps design has really grown on me. Didn't like it upon release; thought it looked too much like Bowman.
ReplyDeleteThank you! I like how clean the set looks. Doesn't have the razor blade things from the year before.
